# What’s new in ShiftPriority

A visual, plain-language timeline of improvements that are already available. No roadmap promises mixed in with shipped work.

1. LatestOperations27 August 2026

    ## Shift Managers can close the day

A Shift Manager working the floor can now finish the day’s operational close without waiting for an owner.

    - Confirm the day’s worked hours and tips from the floor workflow.
    - The close reuses the same payout controls managers already know.

2. Personalisation24 August 2026

    ## Profiles and businesses are easier to recognise

People can add profile photos, and each business can carry its own logo through the workplace switcher.

    - Photos replace initials across the account experience.
    - Business branding stays distinct when one login manages several workplaces.

3. Mobile22 August 2026

    ## Navigation gets out of the way while you work

The mobile navigation now contracts as you scroll, while support stays reachable and chat keeps your place in busy conversations.

    - Jump straight to unread messages or back to the latest reply.
    - Floating controls move together instead of covering page actions.

4. Notifications11 August 2026

    ## Useful alerts, even when the app is closed

Shift changes and chat messages can now arrive as push notifications with direct links to the right place.

    - Choose notification categories per device.
    - Mute individual chat rooms without silencing important schedule updates.

5. Compliance10 August 2026

    ## German labour-law guardrails

Scheduling checks now use data-driven German rules and explain pay-rate issues before they become payroll surprises.

    - Minimum-wage conflicts are visible while scheduling and editing employees.
    - Quick Bump can raise a rate to the legal minimum with an explicit confirmation.

6. Time clock6 August 2026

    ## Clock in from a paired venue tablet

Teams can record attendance on a shared kiosk, while managers resolve missed punches and no-shows in Timesheets.

    - Pair the venue device from Settings without sharing manager credentials.
    - Worked time stays separate from the published schedule until it is reviewed.
